Watching Live Sports wtihout Cable or Satellite

Early in the 2010 season a few of the Chargers games were blacked out due to low attendance at Qualcomm. Many sports fans and even a few of the local sports bars turned to the internet to find streaming video as an alternative. If you just Google “free streaming TV” or something like that you will overwhelmed by links to garbage sites of no value. So here are the three sites I found actually worked, in order of effectiveness:

http://www.channelsurfing.net/

http://www.atdhe.net/index.html

http://www.justin.tv/

I was also able to connect my laptop directly to the input of my TV and watch it that way. (more details on the connections later). The quality of the signal unfortunately is not really great. It’s low resolution, pixelated and often jerky. But its better than not seeing the game.
